Smriti has run several fantastic events around the UK with Pop Up, working with early years and KS1 classes. She plans excellent, interactive sessions full of enthusiasm and energy, and leaves students excited about creating their own stories and reading more books. Schools always review her visits positively, and often request to work with her again in future events.
Teacher, Oundle Primary School
From the moment she arrived to the moment she left Smriti had the children eating out of the palm of her hand. She had a really lovely way with the children and they responded to her warmth and sensitivity, no answer was wrong and every child felt successful. I have been to countless events over the years and I have to say it was the best one that I have attended. She pitched it just right.
After almost 20 years of teaching I know my children's literature and it has been a while since I have come across an author that has excited me so much and made me smile. Her books are refreshingly original, funny and educational. I am looking forward to using more of her books as a stimulus for further learning.

Stoke Newington Literary Festival
We very much enjoyed your workshop in Stoke Newington. It's great to see non-white British women being successful role models for our children, especially in these strange times in which we live.
